Krista was born and raised in Ventura, California, until she relocated to Austin, Texas, to attend College. She ultimately graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in education. Krista was one step away from pursuing a teaching career when she decided to come back to California to accomplish her dream of becoming an actress. Krista has since appeared in numerous roles on TV as well as in major motion pictures. She is also very excited about her new t-shirt line SuperEXellent.

Krista J. Allen was born in Ventura, California but was raised in Houston Texas with her mother Katherine Allen and her father Dale Allen, who later divorced. Krista's first encounter behind a professional camera was modeling as a teenager. It didn't take a 35mm camera to realize how much of a beauty the young Krista Allen was, and everyone could have seen it with bare eyes.
After high school Krista found herself in Austin to attend college. After earning her credits in college, Krista realized that there was more to life than staying in old Texas. She had dreams yet to be fulfilled, there was more to this woman than a small town icon in the state of Texas. It would take great courage and hard work to achieve these dreams but as you'll see she more than accomplished them. She aspired to be in front of a camera once again, but this time it was going to be bigger than BIG.
Krista took her rockin' Honda Civic and what little money she had and headed for a direction that was blurrier than wax paper! The nebulous road with her Civic brought her to the glitz and glamor of Las Vegas. There one of the world famous casinos "Caesar's Palace" forced her inside. Not soon after she encountered a slot machine, Krista cranked the first lever of luck for a new life... the undecided teacher graduate of Texas won $2500.00! Thank You Caesar! The path ahead began to clear up as she continued on her journey.
Believing that now her future could be clearer than crystal she decided to head for the great state of California. The Golden State was where Krista's career in daytime TV started. Krista landed a role in the popular Bold and the Beautiful as Shelly.
After starring in the Bold and the Beautiful she landed roles in the movie the Haunted Sea, and TV shows such as High Tide, Pacific Blue and Silk Stalkings. So do you remember "the busty woman in the elevator" in Liar Liar, well that was our very own Krista!
Krista was only chalking her cue to bank the 8 ball of stardom. In 1996 she dazzled the producers of another popular daytime show "Days of our Lives". She swept international daytime viewers with her portrayal of the conniving drug addict Billie Reed in 1996 to 1999. During her time on Days Of Our Lives she met Justin Morrit, whom she began to date and eventually married. In 1997 the pair were blessed with a baby boy, Jacob Nolan Morrit. Justin and Krista eventually divorced in 1999. Justin Morrit's credits include the movies Roller Ball, and Die Hard.
After her contract with NBC expired she landed numerous TV and movie roles. She starred in the UPN miniseries Avalon: Beyond the Abyss. You might also remember Ms. Allen gracefully running in slow motion on Baywatch Hawaii. We apologize to any of the hardworking male accountants who were fired when Jenna Avid's (Krista's Baywatch character) famous hair flying through the wind, slow motion run in their TV screens!
After starring in Baywatch Hawaii, Krista landed on several magazine covers (Stuff, FHM, Maxim etc.) and also appeared on many TV shows such as Friends, Frasier, Just Shoot Me, Two and a Half Men, Andromeda, X-Files, Fastlane and so much more. She also starred in independent films, Totally Blonde, Meet Market, and Shut Up and Kiss Me.
In 2005 Krista started her own T-shirt company named SexBrand with help from her long time friend Katrina McCaffery. In 2006 she changed the name of the company to SuperExcellent. The company was very successful but in 2007 they decided to call it quits.
In 2009 Krista starred in Final Destination 4 and Silent Venom, she also had some great roles in Dirty Sexy Money and The Philanthropist with numerous other appearances in popular shows.
In 2010 Krista married punk singer Mams Taylor. Krista filed for divorce in April 2011.
In 2010 Krista and her good friend Katrina McCaffery once again started a business called Veggie Boom Boom. VBB started out as just a vegan blog but grew into much more. Krista currently reviews and blogs about all types of products for OM Magazine.
In 2010 Krista also became a licensed yoga instructor.
